Biography
Lewis Grant was born on 21 February 1790 and christened in St. Cuthbert's, Edinburgh on 25 February, the son of Lewis Grant and Margaret Campbell.[1][2]
In 1841 Louis was living at Blinkbonny Penicuik, Midlothian with Elizabeth and his children. He was an agricultural labourer.[3][4]
In 1851 Lewis was living at No 15 Glencourse, Midlothian with Elizabeth and his two daughters. He was a labourer. There were three families living at No 15, it was a tenement buidling.[5][6]
Lewis passed away in 1855. [7] He is buried in Roslin Cemetery.
