John (Grant) Grant of Craskie is a member of Clan Grant.
John was the son of John Grant, Tutor of Glenmoriston.[1]
Research Notes
- John is not listed as a son of this couple in more reliable sources such as "Chiefs of Grant" although his brother is noted. The book "Major Alpin's Ancestors and Descendantss" list a mix of reliable and unreliables sources in its prefarotory notes but does not explicilty give a source for John and his relationship.
- John of Caskie is noted as the father of a woman who married Patrick Grant of Glenmoriston.[2] According to "Major Alpin's", this is not this John rahter his namesake son.
- The marriage to Christian Grant is not documented by any reliable source but is found in [Clan MacFarlene.
