Francis Grant was born on April 9, 1746 in Perthshire (maybe Banffshire) Scotland to parents Beatrix Grant and Patrick Grant. He was Christened at Abernethy and Kincardine, Moray, Scotland on April 13, 1746. [1]
Francis married Ann Oliphant on February 27, 1796[2] in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
Francis Grant passed away on July 26, 1818. [10] His will (Francis Grant of Kilgraston Perthshire) was proven on November 21, 1818. The will being made in 1815 named his trustees (wife and children) wherein he granted Ann his properties "including Blackness Estate in Westmoreland, Jamaica which would secure an annuity of £500 (in addition to the ongoing annual £500 established prior for her) as well as securing £10,000 for his children."
This is a profile under construction and I sincerely appreciate collaboration but hope future changes made, such as deleting working, recorded links, would be mentioned in the comments section and recorded out of respect. I do that when a link is broken let alone destroy someone's research. Thanks.
