1. From O.F. Stetson: Sarah (Merrill) Stetson, wife of Thomas J, who was living at Freeport, Maine, gave Mr. Barry (reference above) the information concerning the second wife and her 3 children after he had published his book on the Stetson genealogy. There are no dates recorded in "The Descendants..."
2. Don't confuse daughter "Sage Stetson" here with Sage Stetson, the daughter, of Temperance and Jacob Stetson born in 1799. 3. Not all of the Children recorded here^[3] have birth dates. Most have been estimated from the date of his first marriage (1768), and the birth order listed in "The Descendants" or in sources listed on the individual child's page.
