James (Grant) Grant VIIth of Freuchie is a member of Clan Grant.

James Grant, 7th of Freuchie was born on 24 June 1616. He was the son of John Grant, 6th of Freuchie and Mary Ogilvy.^[1]

He married Lady Mary Stuart, daughter of James Stuart, 3rd Earl of Moray and Lady Anne Gordon, on 24 April 1640.

He was a Covenanter, and suffered much loss as a result.

He died in September 1663 at age 47 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^[1] He was buried at Holyrood Palace Chapel, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
