Buried MAY 1887. Burdick Cemetery, Malahide Twp, Elgin County, Ontario, Canada. [4]

Marriage Alexander married Ann Matheson in the parish of Dornoch, Sutherland on 3 March 1843.[5] Marriage banns for the couple were also published in the parish of Lairg, Sutherland on 26 February 1843.[6]

Note

Alexander and Anna came to Canada on their honeymoon in 1843.

They settled in Preston, Ontario. He had a blacksmith shop. moved to Elgin County in 1859. 1

Buried in plot 61 on the Southeast side.

Headstone: Ten foot red granite obelisk.[
