Biography
Hubert Fry was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky.
Hubert was born in 1937. He passed away 2024. He was adopted by Robert Fry and Ida Wilder. There were 3 families wanting to adopt him. His mother, Ida, was on her 4th marriage and had not had any children, so they were chosen as his parents. Ida later gave birth to 4 children-one dying at birth, but she always said Hubert was her favorite. DNA test helped confirm his birth parentage-both his mother and his father. He was able to enjoy many years with his nieces/nephews and cousins on his maternal side. He was able to get pictures of his paternal family but never met any of them. [1]
