When Jeremias "Jeremiah" Fisher was born on July 12, 1746, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, his father, Hendrick, was 49 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 42. He married Catalyna "Catherine" Brokaw on December 9, 1769, in New Jersey. They had nine children in 21 years. He died on January 9, 1807, in Somerset County, New Jersey, at the age of 60, and was buried in South Bound Brook, New Jersey.
