Rev. Nathaniel Erwin Sr. was born in Glencoe, County Antrim, Ulster Province, N. Ireland on about 1713 to Elizabeth Patterson and Matthew Irwin.^[2]

Nathaniel Irwin was married twice: 1) Mary Faulk, and 2) Leah Julian^[3].

He was a Revolutionary War Patriot SAR Membership 24514. ^[4]
