Although he did not serve in the military, Michael did furnish beef for the Continental Army at his residence in Culpeper county, Virginia. [1] DAR records indicate that Michael was born circa 1720, in Chester county, Pennsylvania and died after June 15, 1789, in Culpeper county, Virginia. Their records give the name of his wife as "Catarina Elisabetha Lesch." Application for membership in the Society have been made by the descendants of their sons, Adam Ehart, who married Mary "Molly" Lucas; Abraham Ehart, who married Elizabeth (?nee); and of their daughters, Susannah Ehart, who married Benjamin Herndon; and Katherine/Catherine Ehart, who married George Rucker.
