Salomon (Eckert) Eckhardt performed Patriotic Service in New York in the American Revolution.

Salomon was born in 1725 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York. He was the son of Johann Adam (Eckhardt) Eckardt and Ann (Rau) Eckhardt.

He married Maria Burkhardt on 30 Dec 1746 in Rhinebeck, New York.[1]. Father of Salomon was listed as Adam. Father of wife Maria, listed as Martin Burkhardt.

He died in 1809 in Esopus, Ulster County, New York.

Solomon Eckert is recognized by the DAR for furnishing supplied for the patriot cause as sourced from New York Genealogical & Biographical Record Vol. 109 #4 OCT 1978, PG 195.[2]
