Moses McFarland's company, Col. John Nixon's regiment, and as a Private in Capt. Moses McFarland's 7th company, Lt. Col. Thomas Nixon's 4th regiment in 1776, and as a Corporal in Capt. John Thompson's company, Col. David Leonard's Hampshire County regiment in 1777, and as a Private in Capt. Reuben Dickinson's company, Col. Elisha Porter's Hampshire County regiment. [1] [2]
