Sarah, daughter of Charles Duckett & Sarah, was baptised on 1 November 1829 in Giggleswick, York, England.^[1]

In the 1841 census Sarah (age 10) was in Giggleswick, Yorkshire, England.^[2]

Sarah (age Minor, about 19), daughter of Charles Duckett, a joiner, married Robert Blackburn, a tanner, on 12 May 1849 in Long Preston, Yorkshire, England.^[3]

It's not known what happened to Robert, or when Sarah travelled to Australia. The window of time was between 12 May 1849 when she married in England, and 24 March 1851 when she married in Australia. The 1851 Census was taken on 30 March 1851 so there is no record of her in England then as she had already left for Australia by them. No record yet found of her voyage...but her brother Edward Duckett (age 22) arrived on the ship Mary Shepherd on 4 April 1849 in Port Phillip Bay, Australia so he was already there.

Sarah Blackburn (22), a widow, married John Potter (19) on 24 March 1851. Charles Duckett of Melbourne (probably her brother Charles Duckett) was present. The marriage took place at St Peter's Eastern Hill, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.^[4]

Sarah, child of Duckett Charles & Sarah Armistead, died (age 45) in about 1875 in Victoria.^[5][6][7]
