Private Abner Dodge served with Capt. Nathaniel Fales' Company, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Abner Dodge was born on March 6, 1743 in Beverly, Essex, Province of Massachusetts. He was the son of Jonah Dodge and Mary Edwards. Abner Dodge married Lydia Pride on April 10 1764 in Beverly, Essex, Province of Massachusetts. He passed away on December 22, 1831.

Pvt in Captain Nathaniel Fales Company. Enlisted 5 Aug 1779 , discharged 15 Aug 1779., served 12 Days; this Company also marched on the Penobscot Expedition to Majabigwaduce, by order of General Lowell..

Abner is buried at Sedgwick Rural Cemetery, Sedgwick, Maine. His memorial has photo and links to family members.[1]
