Moses (22) married Elisabeth Betsy True (23) (born on August 23, 1801 in Poland, Massachusetts (District of Maine)) on November 16, 1824.

Moses died on August 25, 1835 in Maine, United States, aged 33. He was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanic Falls, Androscoggin County, Maine.[2]
