Moses Davis was born on April 29, 1802 in Poland, Androscoggin, District of Maine, son of William A Davis (1763–~1845) and Hannah Marble (1765–~1837)[1].
Moses (22) married Elisabeth Betsy True (23) (born on August 23, 1801 in Poland, Massachusetts (District of Maine)) on November 16, 1824.
Moses and Elizabeth had the following known children:
- Moses T., b. abt. 1928; m. Charlotte Augusta Babson, 13 Apr 1855; d. 7 Feb 1893 (married)
- Solon Hastings, b. 12 Jun 1833; Margaret Evangeline McDowell, 12 Aug 1862; d. 30 May 1914
Moses died on August 25, 1835 in Maine, United States, aged 33. He was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanic Falls, Androscoggin County, Maine.[2]
