Wood notes that the marriage to Aaron Davis has never been proved, and that the evidence thus far is circumstantial, not conclusive.[2]
Marriage 1 December 1648.
Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts,.
Marriage 1 Dec 1648 Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts. Note:. This marriage date is too early based on his approximate birth date and also in the wrong location. Might be a different Aaron Davis?

i removed James Jr. and Elisabeth Eaton Davis as parents of this profile on 3 December 2018. They must have reappeared in a subsequent merge. I will detach them again. Thank you for this notice Debbie Barrett.
Good catch I think. Aaron Davis was added to my tree inadvertently. I have not followed up on his profile to date. Any information you want to add is okay by me.
This Aaron Davis is NOT a son of James Jr. and Elizabeth (Eaton) Davis. All their children's birth records were entered into the Haverhill town records. Their first known child is Hannah in 1650. You have him born in Wales when James Jr. never resided in Wales, the family was in Thornbury, England until they came to Massachusetts. He and Elizabeth didn't marry until 1648 in Massachusetts. I think you need to look to Dartmouth, MA for records of your Aaron prior to Rhode Island. The attached image you have clearly states he was a proprietor there.
Davis-65362 and Davis-53640 appear to represent the same person because: same name, exact same spouse (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Rodman-666), similar birth year. different birth locations but i do not see source for birth on either profile. same death year and location.
I'm not yet convinced that we are ready for a merge of Davis-54518 and Davis-53640. When I created 53640 my limited sources indicated his birth in Wales, immigration to Massachusetts and death in 1629 in Rhode Island. Also there is confusion of the wives of Aaron and I did not have a son of his named Joshua as in 54518. Could there be more clarification before a merge is completed? Thanks
