Biography

Ruth m. Davis, 1930-2003, was born in New York, the daughter of Ward Charle Davis and Leticia L. Conklin, the fourth of their five children

In 1940, they lived in Gulf Summit, Sanford, Brooke, New York. Ruth, 9, born in NY, lived in the household of her widowed sister, Frances Decker. Also living there were their parents, three siblings, and France’s two young children. ^[2]

Her first husband may have been Robert DeGraw (clue from the obit of her brother, Ward F. Davis, 1924-1951 (FindAGrave # 165307690), which mentions that he was survived by four sisters: Mrs. Clair Evans; Mrs. John Woods; Mrs. Geo. Vaughn; and Mrs. Robert DeGraw)

Per FindAGrave, her birth name was DAVIS. She was the second wife of Clyde W. Farrington, and is buried with him at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deposit, New York (Plot: Sect 7; Plot 42).
