Biography

Catherine was born in 1813. She was the daughter of John Dougherty and Mary Hollowell. She passed away in 1855.

She is listed in LDS church records as living in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois, USA between 1839 to 1846. [1]
Catherine (Daugherty) Hobson was a Latter Day Saint pioneer.

Around June 2, 1852, Catherine left the USA and headed to Deseret, Utah Territory to help settle as Mormon pioneers. They started their travel from Kanesville, Iowa (now known as Council Bluffs, Iowa) with the Benjamin Gardner Company and arrived in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah Territory on September 24, 1852.[2]
