"Isabel M Johnston", death certificate 4370/1888, died in Newtown, NSW. She was 29 years old when she died. Her father’s name is Frederick Hughes and her mother was Ann. Isabel finally died of TB; she had been diagnosed with the disease for 18 months.

Isabel Maria Johnston spouse name was John Johnston. Isabel is buried at Rookwood Cemetery, Sydney.

In death certificate search entry in NSW BDM, for an Isabel M Johnston, her father's name is Frederick and her mother's name is Ann. This Isabella M Johnston died in Newtown, not Frederickton.

There are no records of Isabel, who was known to all her family as Isabella, ever having a middle name, in the family's archive. She is always referred to as Isabella Johnston, spouse of William Johnston.

She is also referred to as Isabella Johnson in the baptism record for daughter Margaret, NSW BDM 82826/80.

Died 30 MAR 1888. 'Roslyn'*, Frederickton, New South Wales, Australia. It appears that there are actually 3 houses which had been named 'Roslyn', besides the Rosslyn Castle built and owned by Michael Henderson, that 2 of which were owned by various members of the family. There now is a suburb named 'Roslyn' where the Rosslyn Castle property was. Part of Rosslyn Castle was used to build another home, which was also named 'Roslyn', 'on a nearby site' by a James Dayell. There is a house named 'Roslyn'* in Repton, N.S.W. on the Bellinger River, in East Raleigh, it was built after 1895. Agnes Johnston (Isabella's 3rd daughter) went to live with her daughter, Margaret Lyon, after her husband George Henderson had died, at 'Roslyn'* and Agnes died at this home, 'Roslyn', in Repton. Note: #N673. 1888 New South Wales. ^[4] Found multiple copies of death date. Using 30 MAR 1888 Isabella Johnston died at the home of her daughter Agnes and husband George Henderson, at the age of 93. The home was in Frederickton on the Macleay River. Buried Frederickton Cemetery, Frederickton, New South Wales, Australia.
