If you are still willing to help I would love to hear any information you may have on the Crawford, particularly Rober Crawford born Scotland approx 1819.
Hi Keith, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your ancestors in Scotland. As Terry says, we have a great project that focuses on Scottish Clans here called Scottish Clans Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.
You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in the Scottish Clan Project will be happy to help you in any way they can. Thank you so much for joining WikiTree.
Good luck with your research. The web site you want for all Scottish BMD and census info is Scotlands People. They should have church records for Shetlands for the period you mention.
Hello Keith we have a few Australian Projects and a Scottish Clan Project on Wikktree you might be interested in once you learn your way around the site Terry

My name is Keith Crawford and I reside in Australia. I have been researching my Crawford line, on and off for a number of years, with very limited success. I believe my Ggrandfather was Robert Crawford born in Shetland Islands Scotland approx 1819 but have been unable to confirm this.
