Thomas Crawford QC is Notable.
Thomas Crawford QC was a centenarian, living to age 100.
Thomas was the son of James Crawford and Ellen Simpson. He was ordained a Presbyterian Minister in 1902 serving at Newcastle and Campsie before resigning in 1914 to enter politics. He served in NSW Legislative Assembly from 1910-1917. He was admitted to the Bar in 1912, appointed Crown Prosecutor in 1917, became Metropolitan Crown Prosecutor in 1930, Kings Counsel in 1935, Senior Crown Prosecutor in 1940 and retired in 1947. His Death Notice reads:
"CRAWFORD, Thomas Simpson QC, at Mater Misericordiae, Waratah, of 32 Henson Avenue, Mayfield East, and formerly of Artarmon, aged 100 years." He was cremated at Beresfield.
