Biography
William (Crauford) Craufurd XIth of Auchinames is a member of Clan Crawford.
William Craufurd, 11th Laird of Auchenames, married in 1600 to Margaret Houstoun, daughter of Sir Patrick Houstoun of that Ilk. [1]
His parents were Patrick Craufurd, 10th Laird of Auchenames[2] who married an unnamed daughter of John Frazer, 3rd Laird of Knock.

I have come across a book, "Some Old Families"dated 1890 (facsimile reprint) under The Family Of Orr which has the Craufords as part of it. It shows William Crauford married on 10 October, 1587, and is witnessed by Patrick Crauford, father of the bridegroom. There is much more about Craufords and Orr's as there is marriage between Rev Alexander Orr and Barbara Craword, daughter of William C. of Auchinames.
