John was born in 1742. He was the son of Ninian Chamberlain and Janet Chamberlain. He passed away in 1794. [1]
John Chamberlain served in the Patriotic Service during the American Revolution. The DAR notes that he was 'paid for services'. His spouse was listed as Hannah Lackey.[2]
