Susannah (20) married her cousin, Solomon Carter (24) (born on September 11, 1841 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky) on January 31, 1867 in Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[1]

In 1920, she lived in Graham, Tazewell, Virginia, United States where she died in 1926, and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Bluefield, Tazewell County, Virginia, USA.[6]
