I don't think the Grace (Wrayford) Bryan mentioned in the will of Joan (see comments below) could possibly be the Grace, parent of this profile. We know this profile, will proved 1641, must have been born at the shortest 1620. Parents (Grace & John) then born 1600. Grace's mother would hardly have been alive in 1684. It is more likely that Grace was born 1540 give or take 20 years, so she really would not have had a mother dying in 1684.

This John Bryant immigrated to America with his mother (not Grace Wayford) and step father. His birth parents were John Bryant (died in England) and Anne Abigail (unknown) Perkins, who married John Doane (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Doane-11) in England after her husband's death. The "new family" of six sailed to America with John's brothers, Thomas and Stephen and John Doane's son John in 1630.
