Biography

David, son of Peter Boyd & Jessie Milne, was born on 28 June 1848 and baptised on 23 July 1848 in Liff Benvie and Invergowrie, Angus, Scotland.^[1]

David married Janet Blaikie Thomson on 14 December 1871 in Peebles, Peebles, Scotland.^[2]

In the 1881 census David (age 32), Managing Law Clerk, was the head of household on Main Street, Inveraray, Argyll.^[3]

In the 1891 census David (age 42), Writer, was the head of household at 72 Northumberland S, Edinburgh St Stephens, Midlothian.^[4] In the 1901 census David (age 50), Wirter, was the head of household at 56 India St, Edinburgh St Cuthbert, Midlothian.^[5]

Margaret's marriage to David Milne Boyd was registered in 1902 in the Kinnethmont district.^[6]

David, Inspector of Poor and Registrar, Norward Longforgan Perthshire died on 3 February 1929 in Longforgan. Confirmation to Margaret Jane Cruikshank Watt oor Boyd , Executrix.^[7][8]
