Caleb Bowden; b. 25 Dec 1751 [1]at Penobscot, Hancock, Maine; m. Hannah Basteen, daughter of Joseph Basteen and Ann Hanscom.

Caleb served during the American Revolution as a private from Massachusetts under Capt Ebenezer Buck and Col Josiah Brewer Brewer-11596. He was part of the Penobscot Expedition.[2]

He appeared on the census of 1810 [3]at Penobscot, Hancock, Maine.
