Caleb served during the American Revolution as a private from Massachusetts under Capt Ebenezer Buck and Col Josiah Brewer Brewer-11596. He was part of the Penobscot Expedition.[2]
He appeared on the census of 1810 [3]at Penobscot, Hancock, Maine.
