1843 BIRTH
Sarah Vinette Bent was born 8 November 1843 in Winchester, New Hampshire,
the daughter of Nathan Bent and Sarah T. Smith, early Fayette County, Iowa settlers.[1]

1861 -1st MARRIAGE
Sarah Vinette Bent and Davis Lippincott married on 30 December 1861 by Rev Ricker. [3][4][5]

They had no chldren.

Davis Lippincott enlisted in the 7th Iowa Cavalry in the Union Army in 1863. He was among the 14 men who lost their life at the Battle of Julesburg, Colorado, on 7 January 1865.

Widow S Vinott Lippincott, filed 16 March 1865 for Civil War pension of Davis Lippincott, Co F, 7 Iowa Cavalry.[6]

1869 -2nd MARRIAGE
Sarah Lippincott married Levi Manley Wood on 23 March 1869 in West Unon, Iowa. [7]

They had five children:
Arminta Ellen, Herbert Lee, John Franklin, Charles Edmund and Ruth May.[8]
