Sarah Vinette Bent was born 8 November 1843 in Winchester, New Hampshire,
the daughter of Nathan Bent and Sarah T. Smith, early Fayette County, Iowa settlers.^[1]

Sarah Vinette Bent and Davis Lippincott married on 30 December 1861 by Rev Ricker. ^[3][4][5]

They had no chldren.

Davis Lippincott enlisted in the 7th Iowa Cavalry in the Union Army in 1863. He was among the 14 men who lost their life at the Battle of Julesburg, Colorado, on 7 January 1865.
