Biography

Mary Eliza Bent was born in 1814, the daughter of Captain Beriah Bent ( b. 11 Feb 1788, Annapolis Co., N.S. d. Aft 1 Nov 1820, Nova Scotia) and Love Friday Parker (b. 7 Mar 1790, d. 11 Apr 1836), who were married 1 Feb 1808 [1] He was a sea captain, left on a voyage 1 Nov 1820 and was never heard from. She married (2nd) 1 Sep 1828, Simeon FREEMAN. [2][3] [4]

On Nov. 26, 1833, she married Allen Tupper Freeman[5] and had children, including[6] :
