Vi was born in 1855 the daughter of Seth and Eliza Bent. Her father was a shoemaker. She married Ruben Leander Dodge. She passed away in 1943 and is buried in the Saint Mary`s Anglican Church Cemetery, Belleisle, Annapolis, NS.
