James H. Bacon was born on 30 Jun 1738 in Bedford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay, son of Josiah Bacon (1702 - 1750) and Sarah (Davis) Kidder (1709 - <1781). [1]

James married Abigail Marsh (1747 - ~1834) on 23 Sep 1764 in Maine. [2]

Their children were:

  1. Elizabeth (Bacon) Sawtelle (~1772 - 1858)
  2. Lydia (Bacon) Dyer (1781 - 1857).
  3. William Marsh Bacon (1782 - 1852).

James died about 1819 in Sidney, Kennebec, Maine, aged ~80. He is buried in Lovejoy Cemetery, Sidney, Maine. [3]
