Biography

Anna Kathleen Anderson was born in 1925 in Alberta, Canada.^[1][2]

In 1926, Anna is found in the Census for Huamha Municipality, Battle River District, Alberta.^[1]

The Huamha Municipality is not easily identified, but an explanation is found on page 96 in the book "Rosyth Memories 1906-1965"^[3] as follows;

Huamha #393 was a Municipality in the Battle River Electoral District. In 1913, A.L. Blue was elected as a Councillor, and became Reeve of the first Municipal Council of Huamha. He helped form the Municipality that took into its boundaries several Local Improvement Districts. The new Huamha Municipality took its name from Hu as in Hughenden, Am as in Amisk and Ha from Hardisty; as all these towns were in the new district. Since then it has been incorporated into the Provost Municipality and the name Huamha lost.

Anna died on the 6th of June,1935. Her death was registered in Athabasca, Alberta.^[4]

Anna was buried in plot 134.4 of the Boyle Community Cemetery.^[2]
