William Anderson was Killed in Action during the American Revolution.

William was born about 1744. William Anderson married Nancy Stinson in 1772 in Ireland. They migrated to South Carolina later that year with fellow members of the Covenanter Presbyterian Church led by Rev. William Martin.[1]

William served during the American Revolution with Civil Service as a juror in South Carolina.[2]

William was killed when his company was attacked by the British Army at or just after the Battle of Fishing Creek or the Battle of Catawba Ford, South Carolina, when British forces overwhelmed the American militia. [3] [4]
