Vida Winifred Anderson was born on July 14, 1900 in New Zealand, daughter of Lawrence Christian Anderson (1863–1902) and Catherine Neville Green (1872–1918).^[1]

Vida (19) married Wynne Manson (30) (born on June 26, 1889, in Diamond Harbour, Canterbury, New Zealand; son of William Manson and Catharine (Harris) Manson) in 1920 in New Zealand. Their children were:
