Biography

1776 Project
Soldier Benjamin Adams served with Baldwin's Regiment (1776), New Hampshire Militia during the American Revolution.

Benjamin Adams is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A000417.

Born in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts, on 4 Aug 1728[1] to Thomas Adams (1699-1765) and Deborah (Knowlton) Adams (1698-aft.1750).

Benjamin Adams married Priscilla Adams (abt.1729-1791),daughter of Joseph & Priscilla (Warner) Adams, on 18 April 1751 in Concord, Massachusetts.[2]

Benjamin served in the American Revolution. He was in the company under the command of Captain Abijah Smith of New Ipswich. They served three months and were at the battle at White Plains. [4][5]

Marriage of Benjamin Adams and Susannah Everett, 19 Feb 1795; New Ipswich, Hillsborough, New Hampshire.[6]

He passed away on 5 May 1815 in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts.[3] He is buried in Hill Cemetery, New Ipswich, New Hampshire. [7]
