Dea. Noah Adams was born on 27 Aug 1747 in Pomfret. [Ref] He died on 26 Jul 1819 and is buried in the Old Revolutionary Cemetery in Cavendish, Vermont.
He married Elizabeth Fassett, the daughter of Adonijah and Anne (Copeland) Fassett on 22 Nov 1770 in Pomfret. Elizabeth died on 13 Oct 1831 and is buried with her husband. Noah and his families settled in Wyoming Valley in 1772. The family survived the Battle of Wyoming and subsequent Indian massacre, fleeing through the wilderness. The family managed to return to Pomfret and moved to Cavendish about 1800. Noah was a representative from the town in 1808.
