Biography

Johann was born about 1745. He passed away before 1794.

Born in the Alsace region of France, Johann Christian Acker migrated with his family in 1755 to Pennsylvania via the ship Neptune. [1] (Many documents spell the family surname as Acker, though variant spellings in some family trees include Auker.)

He married Elizabeth Fuchs on 25 Apr 1769 in New Hanover, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.[2] Christian and Elizabeth had the following children baptized at the New Hanover Lutheran Church in Philadelphia (later Montgomery) County, Pennsylvania, with their birth dates also recorded:[3]

  1. Johann Adam Acker (born 14 Mar 1770)
  2. Johannes Acker (born 17 Mar 1771)
  3. Christian Acker III (born 23 Sep 1772)
  4. Eva Maria Acker (born 28 Feb 1774)
  5. Heinrich Acker (born 29 Aug 1775)
  6. Elizabeth Acker (born 5 Nov 1778)
  7. Catherine Acker (born 28 Feb 1780)
  8. Maria Magdalena Acker (born 6 Aug 1781)
  9. Barbara Acker (born 25 Feb 1783)

His religion was Lutheran.

He was accepted as a Patriot by the Daughters of the American Revolution as reported in their Newsletter November/December 2020.

He died before 19 Dec 1794 in Colebrookdale, Berks, Pennsylvania. His father-in-law, Adam Fuchs, made his will on that date and referred to his daughter, Elizabeth, as the widow of Christian Acker.[4]

Why do the stickers show the name of his daughter, Margaret, rather than his name? If anyone know how to fix this, please help!

Yes, it's very weird, because there's nothing in the coding to insert a Profile ID. I think Christian's stickers need some tech help.
I moved the question to G2G. I'm pretty sure someone there knows how to fix it. Thanks for the quick response, Becky!

Auker-48 and Acker-223 appear to represent the same person because: I added Auker-48 by mistake, he should be merged into Acker-223, they are the same person
