Biography

Sergeant Uriah Abbott served with 1st New Hampshire Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Uriah Abbott is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A000205.

Uriah Abbott was born on September 29, 1735 in Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. His parents were Uriah Abbott and Sarah Mitchell. ^[1]

He married Sarah Wright on April 26, 1757. ^{[1] [2]}

He died in October 1788 in Pelham, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.
