Biography

Aaron Abbe/Abbey was the son of Joseph and Tamasin (Baker) Abbe/Abbey - baptized in Ipswich, Massachusetts 20 September 1747.[1]
Aaron moved with his father and mother to Hopkinton, Massachusetts and sometime around 1764 he married Anna Main.
Together they had these children:
  1. James Abbe, b. 1765.[2][3]
  2. Tamezin Abbe, b. 1767.[2][3]
  3. William Abbe, b. 1768.[2][3]
  4. Joshua Main Abbey, b. 1769.[2][3]
  5. Sarah Abbe, b. 1771.[2][3]
  6. Jerusha Abbe, b. 1773.[2][3]
  7. Calvin Abbe, b. 1775.[2]
  8. Joseph Abbe, b. 1777.[2][3]
  9. John Abbe, b. 1781.[3]

Joseph Abbe, husband of Tamesin Baker Abbe, wrote a will 7 October 1772. At his death in 1773, Joseph's son John's children, and John's wife Jerusha, received bequests from Joseph Abbe, as did his beloved wife Tamasin and his son Aaron Abbe. Joseph was a prosperous man and owned two farms in Hopkinton. Aaron Abbe was executor of his father's will.
