Cornelis Stephensz Muller, possibly of Nijkerk, Gelderland, Nederland https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Stephensz-3 has a son that needs to be connected.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Muller-5116

He is believed to be Cornelis' son as they were from the same location, Jeremias named his first son Cornelis and Cornelis Stephensz Muller and his wife HIlletje Loockermans witnessed the baptism

Cornelis Stephensz Muller's origins are a bit murky but he is believed to be from the Netherlands.

Are there any issues or concerns? If not I'll connect Jeremias in one week.

Really no problem to connect their son Carrie, and since there were no sources whatsoever for his parents, I have been looking for sources for him and his now supposed parents, found a couple in Harderwijk that baptized some children, father named Stephen Cornelis and (or but) mother Bette Peters, they baptized a son Cornelis who's patronymic very likely would have been Stephensz.  so it might be our Cornelis. But because of the last name looked for Mullers or Mulders also of course and there were quite a few in Gelderland, but no luck so far with finding children named Cornelis with a father or mother named Mulller. Added the ones (baptisms)  I could find to his fathers profile.

Good grief. Of course Jeremias (who was born in New Netherland (New York) before the start date of the surviving Albany records) should be connected to Cornelis Stephensz Muller as his father!

That's the connection that was made by Innes Getty (from manuscript by Harry Van Alen) in "The Van Alen Family in America." New York Genealogical and Biographical Record, January 1950, pp. 4-17; it's been accepted by more recent secondary sources; and (as Carrie notes) it's supported by the presence of Cornelis and Hilletje at the baptism of Jeremias' first son.

And since the marriage of Cornelis and Hilletje was recorded in New York, I can't see why anyone would suggest that we need to look for Jeremias' baptism record in the Netherlands.
