Biography
Lucretia Ann Winchester was born on 22 Nov 1836 in Painesville, Ohio to parents William Wilbor Winchester (1814–1883) and Cordelia A. Hammond (1818–1910).
In 1850, Lucretia was aged 14, single, and living in Alden, McHenry County, Illinois with her parents William (aged 36) and Cordelia (32), her five brothers George (11), Franklin (9), Albert (6), John (3), and Charles Winchester (0) and her grandfather Sylvenus Hammond (aged 69).[1]
Lucretia married Philo Lane on 8 Dec 1858 in Reedsburg, Sauk County, Wisconsin.
She was buried in Green Wood Cemetery in Reedsburg alongside her husband Philo.[2]
