Donald M. Payne, Jr. was an American congressman who represented the state of New Jersey.^[1]

Donald Milford Payne, Jr. was born on December 17th, 1958 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey. He was the son of Congressman Donald Milford Payne Sr. and Hazel Johnson. His mother died in 1963.^[2][3]

Donald was elected to fill his father's congressional seat in 2012 after his father's death. He was re-elected five times and served in that seat until his own death in 2024.^[4]

Donald was married and had three children who are triplets.^[2][3]

Donald died on April 24th, 2024 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey.^[2][3]
