Biography

Emma was born in Michigan in 1855, the daughter of John Norton and Cynthia Call.[1][2] She married Albert Goucher in Michigan in 1872.[3]passed away in 1903 and is buried in Avard, Oklahoma.[4]

Reference Notes

  • Grave is inscribed with the middle initial L., but several sources show Emma with the middle initial A. However, "The Benefiel Families of Indiana..." gives her name as "Emma LaDessa (Norton) Goucher."[5]
