Biography

Emma was born in 1869, the daughter of William Mizer and Mary Crites. She was with her parents at the time of the 1870 [1] and 1880 [2] Census. In 1889, she married her second cousin, George Everhart,[3] and they had at least seven children. They were in Hartford Township, Licking County, Ohio, at the time of the 1900 census.[4]

George passed away before 1908, when Emma married for the second time to Joseph Carney,[5] with whom she had a son, James Luther (1909).[6]

She and Joseph divorced before 1916, when Emma married for the third time to William Moore.[7] There were no children from their marriage.

Emma passed away in 1945 and is buried at Evans Creek Lutheran Cemetery.[8]
