Biography

Albert was born in 1926. In 1935, Albert was living with his widowed mother (Vida Messer) and siblings in Bascom, Jackson County, Florida, in the household of his aunt, Mollie Dickenson.^[1] By 1940, they had their own home in Leon County, Florida.^[2] In 1945, they had moved in with Maggie Messer, who is most likely Vida's sister-in-law.^[3]

Albert passed away in 1995.^[4] Burial was in the Garden of Devotion in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.^[5] His marker is inscribed: Beloved Brother and Twin.^[6]
