Biography
Martin Messer was born on 28 October 1715 in Woppenhof. He was the son of Leonhard Messer and Magdalena Augustin.
He was known as Martin Messer “Der Alter” (The Older) to differentiate from his younger brother of the same name.
He married Anna Burggraf on 22 October 1743 in Glaubendorf. They had one child.
After his first wife passed away, he married for a second time to Anna Gösl on 25 August 1744 in Glaubendorf. They had one child.
After his second wife passed away, he married for a third time to Elisabeth Wendl on 28 August 1747 in Glaubendorf. They had 3 children.
He was a farmer in Woppenhof.
He passed away on 4 April 1792 in Woppenhof.
