Greetings Ludwig, I Certainly could do with a helping hand. I don't know who my Mother was. That is. It has become apparent that who she was supposed to be has proved incorrect. The authorities cannot confirm where or when she was born, Either 1936 or 1937 (date of second birth certificate). Foster authorities are investigating. However. DNA matches prove some extremely unexpected positive matches on my maternal line. Please see my profile which lists my maternal DNA ancestors; from them, there is an extremely clear path as far as Blanche Fitzroy.

Thansk for your email and my sincere apology for this late reply. I believe the best way forward is to ask a question in the wikitree G2G user forum. When doing so, make sure you put as much information in your question and perhaps one of the wikitree members can assist you.

There is also a wikitree Adoption Angels project group at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Adoption_Angels:_Historical_Adoption with some suggestions how to find parents.
