Bertha was born in 1879. She was the daughter of Robert Jane and Jessie MacDonald. [1]

- TILLEY.—On the 6th July, at her residence, Campbell road, off Mont Albert-road, Balwyn, Bertha, the beloved wife of Percy Norman Tilley, aged 28 years.[4]
She is buried in Boroondara cemetery. [5]
