Biography

Percy (Jane) Mathews was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)

Percy William Quirk Jane was born in 1898 in Carlton, Colony of Victoria, son of Thomas William Mathews (1872–1944) and Ellen Quirk Jane (1881–1951).

Percy's marriage to Lily Miriam Stillman was registered in 1923 in Victoria, Australia.[1]

Percy deserted His Majesty's Service when he was 18 years and a warrant was issued for his arrest in 1917.[2]

Percy died in 1952 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, aged 53.[3]
