Biography
Rita was born, the 4th daughter of Darrell Hore Josie Ward
I know it is incredibly hard to lose a child no matter how old the child is
I did a course at Tafe Belmont in Dress making , Home Decor , Children's Wear. Cake decoration and Floral arrangement ( Newcastle Tafe ) ,which was handy when my children married , for the girls I made their Wedding dresses ,Bridesmaids cooked and decorated their wedding cakes and with Terrys help cooked a 3 course meal for their Wedding Guests of 120 persons . I also made Karen Wedding dresses for her and her bridesmaids and Darren wedding cake then we were blessed with the grandchildren.
The Catholic Church in which our family were all Baptised and married in was damaged in the Earthquake and they are no longer using it ,they want to demolish it It's not even 80yrs old, opened in 1940.
Seats 570, a sandstone altar, a metal sculpture of the risen Christ and the matching baptismal font. I've never been there, but they say it huge, with a assembly area with hall underneath the actual Church .at Mayfield . . .Hill 58049
